Yikes! It's been almost a year since I put anything on here! I better get busy!

The NIPOMO COWBOYS appear to be putting out a challenge. Who the heck are the Nipomo Cowboys, anyway? If you entertain the idea of taking up their challenge, just where are you supposed to find these Nipomo Cowboys? Out herding cows? I guess you could hang around the banner and wait to see if someone shows up. They have a couple of these banners placed around the general Nipomo area stating they'll take on ANY team. at ANY time and at ANY place. One would assume that they mean football, but that assumption could be wrong. The name is NIPOMO COWBOYS. Maybe it's team roping. Maybe it's team teatherball. Curling? Ice Hockey? Hopscotch? Jump Rope? Four Square? Chinese Checkers? Chess? It might be a mix of sports. They could be a dodgeball team playing against a girls squash team. Since they are challenging ANY team, how about the local Pop Warner League youth football team? Maybe the Nipomo Cowboys would enjoy putting the hurt on a bunch of 4th graders. Or, we could set up a match between them and the United States Olympic Water Polo Team, in a 12 foot deep pool and see how quickly they sink to the bottom. They did say any team, any time and any place. This 2nd banner reveals that it must be a game of football, but they don't say how to get in touch with them.

Where the hell is NIPOMO?

This is where I live. Nipomo, California. DON'T COME HERE! IT'S HORRIBLE! It's a place you want to STAY AWAY FROM. It's got relatively low crime and a perfect mild climate. It rarely gets above 80 degrees in the summer. The air is clean. There's usually a light breeze in the afternoon moving across the land from the ocean. It's a rural area where the scenery is beautiful. So just enjoy what you have, stay where you are. If you happen to be driving by on the 101 freeway just keep on going. Don't stop here. If you do, you might want to stay and we already have our share of people dropping in and discovering us and then moving here. So if we keep Nipomo weird, maybe you'll want to stay where you are and we'll stay the way we are and everyone will be happy.
